This reply was just read..so a little delayed!
Understand your concerns on cleaning baking stones. Learned as they’re porous not to use soaps as they will absorb the soap & possibly affect the taste of your food. Also realize that (assuming) no one is actually eating out/off of the stones so really once they cool down they can soak & rinse in water only. However I’ve used soap on them (accident at first) as a pan was slid into the hot soapy dish water but no one (including me) ever detected any soapy taste afterwards with foods cooked on them. So I wouldn’t get too overly anxious about what cleaners to use w/ the stones. Basically taking good gentle care of them helps them last and each time they’re used they become more seasoned and naturally food does not stick to them. You could use a high quality olive (avocado or other) oil rubbed over the stone to help w/ seasoning as well. Hope this helps

She points out the irony of leaving a family gathering to go stand in line and purchase material goods for those same family members. It is ironic. We can’t enjoy Thanksgiving anymore without being bombarded by ads and stores and sales and deals for Christmas.

I got hooked on your website a year or so ago. Due to being diagnosed/treated for breast cancer in September 2013, I was looking for non-chemical cleaning products/tips and came across Branch Basics thanks to you! LOVE THE STUFF! Even got my daughter and sister hooked on it! I, too, love the Pampered Chef stoneware. I know you’re supposed to use just hot water to clean the stone, but I’m paranoid when I use the deep dish baker for chicken/meat dishes. Have you ever used the All-Purpose BB for cleaning the stoneware? Would you recommend it? Do you even think it’s necessary and I’m just being overly paranoid?! Thanks, Katie!
