Lol I used to try and hide them but she has superpowered taste buds. One thing that did work was letting her choose her vegetable to go with her meal and only giving a small amount. Once she consistently eats that amount, I increase it a bit (so she doesn’t really notice). So far so good! But that still limits vegetable choices since she’ll only eat a select few. Thanks for the great advice!

I would add, don’t sweat it when they don’t eat any one meal (or day). I know with little kids, some meals they will just eat the chicken/ cheese/ rice/ whatever and ignore everything else, although there are also times when they’ll just eat the broccoli. Off veggies all the time trusting they’ll eat some willingly (at some point) and supplement with hidden veggies 🙂

Kids should see the beauty of real food and work with it.
Totally on board with getting kids in the kitchen to cook. Also show kids how beets can color their smoothie purple or temporarily dye their hair! Immerse them in veggies and dress them in veggie print pajamas to help with the mission. Kids can cook and love real food!
