I’ve heard her speak and it’s incredible what the right nurotransmitters can do!

I personally find her meal plan too obsessive/restrictive.

My perfect abstinence plan is whole30. Takes out all y triggers without adding unnecessary weighing or limits.

Physical and neurotransmitter miss fire. But what do I do about it? No one says anything about fixing that!

I read a very interesting book called The Craving Cure and the short gist is that sugar and processed foods mess up our neurotransmitters. They advocate amino acids to rewire your brain. I did some trialing on my own without much success and by the time I got signed up to work with someone, I found out I was pregnant. I’ve also been looking at genetic testing with regards to how my body responds to foods, and I was excited to see Nutrition Genome has a section on neurotransmitters. I think that will be my Christmas present. I’m hoping to get some pertinent information from it. For me I know there is a very big emotional component, a spiritual component, and some sort of physical component to my addiction. Our bodies are miraculous in how they function and how systems are interconnected, and I wish they weren’t so hard to figure out!

It’s all based on the science of addiction. Thank you for more resources for this very real issue!
