Hi there, a good online maths programme is MathsOnline (Australia) and CTC Math (US). Same teacher, just slightly different format. We ‘re in NZ and use the Australian one as it’s most similar to our situation. Cathy Duffy has reviewed it; there are special discounts for homeschoolers (about half price); if you don’t see it on the page, then you can just enquire. We’ve also used MathsWhizz, though this is more supplementary – I have enjoyed there reporting feature, so you can look at you child’s overall “maths age” and where they are in each topic 🙂

Hi – what headphones are you using for the keyboard. Want to get some for the kids and wanted to get some low emf ones but worried the tubular ones won’t work well for young kids.

thank you so much for this amazing article. I am going to start using some of your tips right away with my son as it has been hard for me to get him interested in school and learning new things! I do have a question for you, do you know of any similar resources in Spanish? Even though I am fluent in English my son has always talked and learned in Spanish. I will be using Duolingo with him from now on but I was wondering if you happen to know of some useful website for Grammer, History, Geography etc in Spanish. I’ve had a hard time finding any and thought I’d ask.

In reply to Alexandra. They have been great for us, but I haven't relied on them solely as a curriculum. The courses are solid but a little tough to navigate in the beginning until the kids get the hang of it. At those ages though, I'd personally be comfortable relying on just Ron Paul for the core subjects.
