In reply to Katie Wells. Are fire retardants on tents something that we should not be concerned about? REI carries options that are free of fire retardants, but id rather not pay the extra if its not a legitimate concern.

In reply to Ashley. So every tent I've found has the p65 warning I believe it is, do the brands you mention not have these, sorry I've clicked on the links and still can't find the answer. I love tent camping with my family and our amazing real canvas tent we've had for years is out of commission now, and I can't find any "healthy" material ones, anywhere, does anyone have any advice?

How about fire retardants? This is my biggest concern with camping tents, it’s is difficult to find one without them, let alone ones on the bigger side.
