Here’s the pull-up bar linked to in Katie’s workout article. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002YQUP7Q/ref=as_li_ss_tl?tag=wellnessmama-20&th=1

Very inspiring with information! So neat that you can do pull ups. I checked to see if you had pull up bar recommendation and found older post. It went to link from 2012 with kettleball and more. When I clicked on link for door pull up bar, there were various options. Can you link pull up bar and share specific one you have?

I am a long time listener. I have a 14 year old daughter, and since discovering your site when she was a baby, you have been the first resource I turn to when looking into almost anything health related, at least as a starting point (and often as an ending point!) The way you present your research is so grounded in all the important ways – compassion, community, kindness, scientific research, intuition, healing, growth – all that goes into parenting. This episode made me a little emotional, for some reason. I am so grateful to you for the consistent work you’ve contributed this field, and all the while parenting multiple children at multiple phases in their lives. There is really nowhere else I can find the wealth of information you’ve accumulated presented in such a deeply wise and accessible way. Thank you for everything!

I’m not on any social media, which is why I’m commenting here. I loved this episode! I have a similar journey – when I got chronically sick in 2007 with chronic fatigue and associated conditions, like brain fog, digestive issues, etc, I dove into nutrition, food, biochemistry, supplements, detoxing, and all the physical aspects of health and healing. After a few years of going down this path, I wasn’t feeling any better, and I finally realized that it was emotional trauma that caused me to get ill. So then, most of my focus came to be on the mind body aspect of health and healing, and after studying the mind body connection, I’ve come to the conclusion that the root of all chronic conditions is suppressed emotions and trauma, which is very stressful to the nervous system. And we can only heal when we are in ventral vagal state. Have you looked into German New Medicine? It’s so interesting.

Anyway, I’m so glad you are doing more episodes on the mind body connection and the nervous system. Looking forward to your next 10 years!
